Appraisal Coordinator

City National Bank is seeking an Appraisal Coordinator to support residential valuation operations within its mortgage division. This role serves as a central liaison between internal lending teams and approved appraisal vendors, ensuring that valuation orders are assigned, tracked, and delivered in a timely and compliant manner.

The position involves managing appraisal workflows from assignment through completion while maintaining clear communication across stakeholders.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Assigning residential valuation requests to approved appraisers
• Tracking appraisal orders from initiation through delivery
• Monitoring due dates and following up on past-due assignments
• Processing fee or timeline adjustments and obtaining required approvals
• Serving as a primary contact for internal lending teams and external vendors
• Escalating pipeline concerns when necessary
• Supporting reporting and daily administrative tasks
• Monitoring vendor service levels and identifying coverage gaps

Required background:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working within Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) CMS platform (required)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Basic understanding of residential appraisal processes and valuation workflows
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage high-volume pipelines with professionalism and urgency

Additional experience in residential appraisal coordination, lending operations, or appraisal department procedures is preferred. An associate degree in Business, Real Estate, or Finance (or equivalent experience) may be considered.

Compensation:

• $26–$41 per hour
• Eligible for bonus and/or commission components, as outlined by employer
