Real Estate Loan Coordinator, Real Estate Appraisal & Inspection Support

Premier Mortgage Associates (NQM Funding, LLC) is seeking an experienced Appraisal Desk Coordinator to support full-cycle appraisal management within its compliance and retail lending division. This fully remote role is designed for professionals with prior Appraisal Desk or AMC experience who are comfortable managing high-volume pipelines with strong attention to detail and regulatory precision.

This position plays a central role in overseeing appraisal ordering, vendor coordination, quality control review, and collateral compliance throughout the loan lifecycle.


Key responsibilities may include:

Appraisal ordering & pipeline management

  • Managing a high-volume caseload of appraisal orders across multiple loan products
  • Placing and monitoring orders within ValueLink
  • Coordinating with vendors on due dates, fees, and assignment placement
  • Tracking payment status and resolving orders on hold
  • Ordering ancillary valuation products as required

Quality control & report review

  • Performing initial and revised QC reviews of appraisal reports
  • Conducting side-by-side comparisons of appraisals on the same property
  • Reviewing appraisal transfer documentation for completeness
  • Identifying inconsistencies and ensuring compliance before underwriting

Deadline management & vendor oversight

  • Following up on same-day and past-due orders
  • Escalating non-responsive vendors when appropriate
  • Maintaining service level expectations and documentation standards

Compliance & regulatory management

  • Managing Reconsiderations of Value (ROVs) in accordance with agency guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with USPAP, Appraiser Independence Requirements (AIR), and investor overlays
  • Creating and submitting UCDP files and resolving submission errors
  • Uploading and documenting SSR results in the loan origination system

Cross-department collaboration

  • Partnering with underwriting, processing, and branch teams to resolve appraisal issues
  • Supporting internal questions related to collateral workflow and vendor selection
  • Maintaining organized documentation within Encompass and departmental systems

Required background:

  • Prior Appraisal Desk Coordinator or AMC experience (required)
  • Hands-on experience ordering and reviewing appraisal reports
  • Experience with Encompass LOS (required)
  • Experience with ValueLink appraisal management software (required)
  • Strong understanding of USPAP, AIR, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and Non-QM guidelines
  • Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with urgency and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.


Compensation:

  • $50,000–$65,000 per year
