Senior Real Estate Transaction Coordinator

The Perna Team is seeking a Senior Real Estate Transaction Coordinator to manage high-volume residential transactions from contract through closing. This role is designed for experienced coordinators who can operate independently, maintain clean files, and keep multiple deals progressing on schedule.

The position supports a large real estate team handling a high number of transactions annually and requires strong organizational systems, proactive communication, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities may include:

Transaction Management

Managing transactions from executed contract through closing
Tracking deadlines, contingencies, inspections, and financing timelines
Coordinating with agents, clients, lenders, title companies, and attorneys
Ensuring all documents, disclosures, and files are complete and compliant

Pipeline & File Management

Maintaining accurate and organized transaction files
Monitoring multiple deals simultaneously in a high-volume environment
Updating CRM and transaction systems in real time

Issue Resolution

Identifying potential problems early and resolving them proactively
Managing escalations and keeping transactions on track
Required background:
5+ years of Transaction Coordinator or Closing Coordinator experience OR high transaction volume experience
Strong understanding of residential real estate transactions
Experience managing multiple files simultaneously
Proficiency with transaction management systems and CRMs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently without supervision
Preferred experience:
Familiarity with Michigan real estate processes
Experience supporting large real estate teams
Real estate license (not required)
Compensation:
$40,000 – $65,000 per year
